2016 Kia Soul EV

2016 Kia Soul EV vs 2016 Nissan LEAF in Kaneohe, HI

When you’re looking into the electric vehicle segment to get in line for the future of the auto industry, you might want to consider this comparison between the 2016 Kia Soul EV vs 2016 Nissan LEAF in Kaneohe, HI, before making any decisions. When you consider how infinitely superior the Soul EV is compared to the LEAF throughout this detailed competition, you’ll know that this subcompact crossover is the one for you. Visit Aloha Kia today to test drive the Soul EV!

Beginning with a peek at the interior and exterior features that each of these crossovers offers, you’ll find that the Soul EV overshadows the LEAF in almost every category. Thanks to the dual-zone temperature control that comes standard in the Soul EV, you and your passengers will remain comfortable in your own bubbles of comfort. The Nissan LEAF neglects this feature, and also fails to offer dual-illuminated vanity mirrors, which the Soul EV boasts as a standard amenity. Taking a look at the exterior will surprise you, as the Soul EV integrates lightweight alloy wheels that overcome the heavy steel wheels implemented on the LEAF, providing you with quick maneuvering that you just can’t achieve with the Nissan LEAF

Speaking of performance, the Soul EV still upstages the LEAF with its electric capabilities. Though the LEAF does gain a slightly better fuel rating of 124/101 MPG city/hwy1 over the Soul EV’s 120/92 MPG city/hwy2, there are a few other categories in which the Kia brand triumphs. The Soul pushes out 109 horsepower, while the LEAF lags behind with only 107 horsepower. You’ll find that the major differences lie in the force that each vehicle puts out. The Soul EV reels in 210 lb.-ft. of torque over the LEAF's upsetting 187 lb.-ft. of torque that just can’t compete.

So far in the competition between the 2016 Kia Soul EV vs 2016 Nissan LEAF in Kaneohe, HI, the Soul EV comes out strong, leading in almost every category it has been put up against. Space is also an area where the Soul EV conquers, such as its 97.1 cubic ft. of passenger volume over the LEAF's mere 92.4 cubic ft. of space. The Soul EV also triumphs with 55.5 inches of front shoulder room and 54.7 inches of back-row shoulder space. The LEAF only grants you 54.3 inches of front shoulder room and a 52.5-inch back-row shoulder space. Measuring out at 70.9 inches wide and 63 inches tall, the Soul EV still bests the LEAF's mere 69.7-inch wide and 61-inch tall body. Because of all of this extra room, the Soul EV boasts a maximum of 49.5 cubic ft. of cargo room3, while the LEAF falls dreadfully behind with only 30 cubic ft. of space4 as its maximum capacity.

For an electric subcompact crossover that will astound you with its features, capabilities, and interior space, opt for the winner of the 2016 Kia Soul EV vs 2016 Nissan LEAF in Kaneohe, HI, comparison. The Soul EV is awaiting your test drive at Aloha Kia, so come on down today to get behind the wheel of this champion.

Shopped for a Sedona

CARS

Worked with Martin who was very patient and not pushy at all. He answered all of our questions to the best of his ability and sought help when he didn't. He came across very honest and genuine, as did the other financial guys we worked with. Thanks for our Sedona. My mom is loving it so far!

Shirly Cadiaza and her manager Bradford Jacinto were really helpful in helping me with purchasing a nice, pre-owned Hyundai Solanta with favorable financing. Although it has been awhile since I financed a vehicle, the process was painless. Both were professional, personable and helpful. Thank you.

Our representative was Martin. He was warming and very polite. Never had a problem during price negotiation and the buying process. Our family has always bought from Toyota and even after telling him that, not once did he criticize our opinion or put us down. Would recommend to others.

Bought a new 2017 Kia Soul!

CARS
July 4, 2017

Sales associate Chris was great. Very knowledgeable and respectful. I never felt pressured to buy. Chris didn't sell so much as he answered all my questions patiently. But do your homework. Like most new car buying experience, once you are in their office they will try to get you to buy their car using many of the old tricks. They are trying to make a profit after all. So that's fair and to be expected. They don't disrespect but they wint roll over so easily on your first offer. You can get a fair deal on a new car. Do. Your. Homework.
